Arnt the age of 16 I began training in martial arts.rnWhat started as a hobby, a way to get in shapernand increase my self-confidence, soon turned into arnpassion. I unexpectedly found myself on a path.rnThis path was one of self-exploration and develop-rnment. As I progressed in rank and understandingrnand began to appreciate the benefits of improvedrnhealth, discipline, and self-esteem, as did so manyrnstudents before me, I developed a desire to teachrnand pass on what I had been taught. After a num-rnber of years of assisting, several fellow instructorsrnand I opened up a martial arts school. I was in col-rnlege at the time and frequently finished classes andrnimmediately raced down to the school to teach orrntrain. I found those days extremely challenging andrnrewarding.
